The first ZEBRA Clothing store opened in Mosman in 2006, and has changed the lives of many women who had become frustrated with clothes shopping.
Tracey Ashton started ZEBRA to give larger girls somewhere to buy edgy flattering clothes, instead of the same old boring ‘plus size’ offerings at mainstream department stores and chain stores. She soon found that regular and smaller sized girls also wanted an alternative to ‘mainstream’ fashion. So ZEBRA now caters for sizes 10-20 in a wide range of labels mostly from Australian designers.
The majority of the garments are MADE IN AUSTRALIA so they are true to size, are well made and last! Another important aspect is that the labels are not widely available, so you get something quite unique (without a unique price tag!). We now have our own label designed in-house and made in Sydney ... Sara Tonin (clothes that make you feel good).
What you’ll notice straight away, in any of the ZEBRA stores, is the service. Everyone on the team is dedicated to making sure you receive personal attention so that the garments you purchase suit your shape and look great on you. We don’t believe in telling you that ‘you look good in that’ just to get the sale. We want you to have confidence in us, and to come back!
Most of all we want you to enjoy the experience of shopping for clothes, so make sure you’ve got a bit of time to spend with us and we promise you’ll have fun!
We're all quite bossy, so be prepared!
The garments are generally unstructured, which doesn’t mean they don’t have shape! We want you to be comfortable but still feel stylish, and confident.

Most of our garments are made of soft stretchy fabrics that flatter any figure, and will go up or down with your weight and shape on the day!
